Information only, not advice
TechPortfolio publishes news, analysis and tools for general information. Nothing on the site is financial, investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy or sell any security or to make any particular business decision. Always get advice from a qualified professional about your own situation.
Our calculators
The tools give estimates for planning and comparing scenarios, based on the inputs you provide and the assumptions and formulas each tool explains. Results may not reflect your actual situation, deal terms or tax treatment. Confirm any numbers with your lawyer, accountant or financial advisor before you rely on them or sign anything. The tools run in your browser and do not store what you enter.
Accuracy and older articles
We work to keep our reporting accurate, but we cannot guarantee that everything on the site is complete, current or error-free. Articles published before our 2026 relaunch are kept as originally published and show the year they appeared, so some information in them may be out of date. If you spot an error, email info@techportfolio.net.
Interviews, sponsors and partners
Views expressed by people we interview are their own and do not necessarily reflect TechPortfolio’s views. Sponsored or partner content is labelled as such, and sponsors and partners do not approve or edit our independent coverage.

Articles link to other websites for context and sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. Some older links may point to archived copies of pages that no longer exist.
